Environment Preparation

• Install the 【GiMao·XiaoJi】 APP
• Activate the 【Password Vault】 service
• Ensure the computer and mobile phone are on the same local network
• When accessing from a computer, the mobile phone needs to open GiMao·XiaoJi and enter 【Service Mode】

Step 1: Install Browser Extension

Please visit the Bitwarden official website and select your browser type to install the extension according to the instructions.

Step 2: Connect to the Password Vault

On the computer, open 【GiMao·XiaoJi】【Password Vault】, and copy the web address from the address bar.

Example: https://aiu.c.gimao.space:8086

Configure the Bitwarden browser extension by selecting the “Self-Hosted” type, and enter the server address, username, and password.

The default username and password are both: me@gimao.space. Please change them after logging in.

Step 3: Add Login Accounts

When you need to register a new account on a learning website, open the registration page of that website. When entering account information, open the Bitwarden extension, click on “Add” and “Login” to fill in the username, password, and other information (choose to automatically generate a strong password to ensure security). After saving and returning to the webpage, it will automatically recognize and prompt you to fill in the preset account information. Click “Fill” to automatically fill in all the information into the corresponding input boxes. After the account registration is completed, you can achieve automatic login and filling.

Step 4: Automatic Login and Fill

When you need to log in to a learning website, open the login page of that website. The Bitwarden extension will automatically recognize the website and prompt you to fill in the saved account information. Click the “Fill” button, and the username and password will be automatically filled into the login boxes. You just need to click “Log In”.

Notes

1. Auto-Lock: The Vaultwarden extension will automatically lock after a period of inactivity.
2. Master Password: Change your password as soon as possible the first time you use it, ensure your master password is complex enough, and do not share it with others.
3. Privacy Protection: Although it is convenient to use, make sure to only use it on your own devices to avoid leaking sensitive data.
